The Combined Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) (Star and Non-Star Hotels) in May 2012 reached 46.52%, up 2.80% compared to April 2012 which was recorded at 43.72%. TPK for Star Hotels in Bandar Lampung during May 2012 managed to reach a position of 62.36%, up 4.98% compared to April 2012 which was recorded at 57.38%. TPK in May 2012 compared to May 2011 which was recorded at 54.27%, an increase of 8.09%. The ROR for other accommodation (non-star hotels) throughout May 2012 was only 39.84%, up 1.88% compared to April 2012 which was recorded at 37.96%.
The number of guests during May 2012 who stayed at star and non-star hotels (combined) was 96,207 people, consisting of 1,113 foreign guests and 95,094 domestic guests. This condition has increased by 6,128 people (6.80%) compared to April 2012, which was recorded at 90,079 people. The number of guests during May 2012 at star hotels was 16,982 people, namely 1,050 foreign guests and 15,932 domestic guests. This number increased 6.97% compared to April 2012 when it was recorded at 15,875 people. The increase in the number of guests occurred in all star hotel groups. The number of guests during May 2012 who stayed in other accommodation (non-star hotels) was 79,225 people, consisting of 63 foreign guests and 79,162 domestic guests, an increase of 5,021 people or around 6.77% compared to April 2012 which was recorded at 74,204 people.
The average length of stay for guests in May 2012 in star and non-star hotels (combined) was recorded at 1.42 days, up 0.01 days compared to April 2012. The average length of stay for foreign guests was 2.40 days, down 0.65 days compared to April 2012, while the average stay for domestic guests was 1.40 days, up 0.04 days compared to April 2012. The average length of stay during May 2012 at star-rated hotels was 1.73 days, up 0.07 days compared to April 2012. Average -The average length of stay for guests in other (non-star) accommodation is around 1.27 days, down 0.01 days compared to April 2012, with details of foreign guests 3.18 days and domestic guests 1.27 days.
