The total export value of Lampung Province in November 2011 reached US$ 332.7 million or an increase of US$ 118.9 million (55.59%) compared to exports in October 2011. Export conditions in November 2011, when compared with November 2010, increased by US$ 59.8 million ( 21.9%) of US$273.0 million.
Six main categories of goods experienced an increase in export value in November 2011 compared to October 2011. The highest increase in exports occurred in the animal/vegetable fats & oils category, US$110.4 million; cocoa/chocolate US$10.8 million; organic chemicals US$1.2 million; rubber and rubber goods US$0.6 million; fish and shrimp US$0.4 million; and wood, wooden goods US$1.27 million. The four main categories of goods that experienced an increase in export value in November 2011 compared to October 2011 were coffee, tea, spices US$ 9.8 million; pulp/pulp US$5.9 million; processed fruit/vegetables and processed meat and fish each decreased by US$1.0 million.
The largest contribution in November 2011 was dominated by four categories of goods, especially animal/vegetable fats and oils; fish and shrimp; coffee, tea, and spices; and processed fruit/vegetables, which each have a contribution of 46.46%; 5.81%; 5.58%; and 4.93% of Lampung Province's total exports. The role of these four groups reached 62.78% of the total export value in the same month.
The main export destination country in November 2011 was Italy which reached US$70.65 million, followed by China, the United States, India and Japan respectively amounting to US$40.46 million, US$29.77 million, US$27.76 million and US $26.77 million. The role of these five countries reached 58.73% of total exports that month.
