The Combined Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) (Star and Non-Star Hotels) in September 2011 reached 45.66%, an increase of 8.43% compared to August 2011 which was recorded at 37.23%. TPK for Star Hotels in Bandar Lampung in September 2011 reached 56.54%, an increase of 10.06% compared to August 2011 which was recorded at 46.48%. ROR for other accommodation (non-star hotels) in September 2011 reached 41.07%, up 7.79% compared to August 2011, namely 33.28%.
The number of guests staying in September 2011, in star and non-star hotels (combined) was 90,018 people, consisting of 398 foreign guests and 89,620 domestic guests, an increase of 22,612 people (33.55%) compared to August 2011, which was recorded at 67,406 people. This increase was due to the increase in the number of guests in all star and non-star hotels. The number of guests at star hotels in September 2011 reached 16,073 people, namely 292 foreign guests and 15,781 domestic guests. This number increased 30.52% compared to the number of guests in August 2011 which reached 12,315 people. The number of guests staying overnight in September 2011 compared to September 2010 increased by 113.74%. The number of guests staying in other accommodation (non-star hotels) in September 2011 reached 73,945 people, consisting of 106 foreign guests and 73,839 domestic guests, an increase of 18,854 people or around 34.22% compared to August 2011 which was recorded at 55,091 people.
The average length of stay for guests in September 2011 at star and non-star hotels (combined) was around 1.40 days, down 0.07 days compared to August 2011. Foreign guests stayed on average for 1.94 days, down 2.81 days compared to August 2011, while domestic guests averaged 1.39 days, down 0.05 days compared to August 2011. The average length of stay at star-rated hotels was 1.59 days, down 0.11 days compared to the previous month, and compared to in September 2010, down 0.05 days. The average length of stay for guests in other (non-star) accommodation is around 1.31 days, down 0.06 days compared to August 2011, with details for foreign guests 3.41 days and domestic guests 1.31 days.
