The total export value of Lampung Province in September 2011 only reached US$ 253.58 million or decreased by US$ 5.34 million (2.06%) compared to exports in August 2011. Exports in September 2011, compared to September 2010, increased by US$ 12.02 million. (4.98%) of US$241.56 million.
Six main categories of goods experienced a decline in export value in September 2011 compared to August 2011. The highest decline in exports occurred in the category of animal / vegetable fats & oils, US$4.17 million; rubber and rubber goods US$4.07 million; processed fruit/vegetables US$1.39 million; processed meat and fish US$1.33 million; coffee, tea, spices US$1.09 million; and organic chemicals US$0.84 million. The four main categories of goods that experienced an increase in export value in September 2011 compared to August 2011 were pulp/pulp US$15.44 million; cocoa/chocolate US$2.12 million; wood, wooden goods US$1.33 million; and fish and shrimp US$1.12 million.
The largest contribution in September 2011 was dominated by four categories of goods, especially animal/vegetable fats and oils; coffee, tea, and spices; pulp/pulp; and processed fruit/vegetables, which each contributed 38.40%; 12.87%; 9.70%; and 6.21% of Lampung Province's total exports. The role of these four groups reached 67.18% of the total export value in the same period.
The main export destination country in September 2011 was India which reached US$49.05 million, followed by Japan, the United States, Malaysia and Spain respectively amounting to US$42.13 million, US$38.23 million, US$18.46 million and US $17.46 million and the role of the five countries reached 65.20% of total exports for that month.
