Combined Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) (Star and Non-Star Hotels) in August 2011 reached 37.23%, down 7.27% compared to July 2011 which was recorded at 44.50%. TPK for Star Hotels in Bandar Lampung in August 2011 reached 46.48%, down 10.46% compared to July 2011 which was recorded at 56.94%. ROR for other accommodation (non-star hotels) in August 2011 reached 33.28%, down 5.99% compared to July 2011, namely 39.27%.
The number of guests staying in August 2011, in star and non-star hotels (combined) was 67,406 people, consisting of 349 foreign guests and 67,057 domestic guests, down 24,105 people (26.34%) compared to July 2011, which was recorded at 91,511 people. This decrease was due to a decrease in the number of guests at all star and non-star hotels. The number of guests at star hotels in August 2011 reached 12,315 people, namely 269 foreign guests and 12,046 domestic guests. This number decreased by 20.94% compared to the number of guests in July 2011 which reached 15,576 people. The number of guests staying in August 2011 compared to August 2010 increased by 84.30%. The number of guests staying in other accommodation (non-star hotels) in August 2011 reached 55,091 people, consisting of 80 foreign guests and 55,011 domestic guests, a decrease of 20,844 people or around 27.45% compared to July 2011 which was recorded at 75,935 people.
The average length of stay for guests in August 2011 at star and non-star hotels (combined) was around 1.47 days, up 0.02 days compared to July 2011. Foreign guests stayed on average for 4.75 days, up 0.11 days compared to July 2011, while domestic guests averaged 1.44 days, an increase of 0.01 days compared to July 2011. The average length of stay at a star-rated hotel was 1.70 days, down 0.08 days compared to the previous month, and compared to in August 2010, down 0.20 days. The average length of stay for guests in other (non-star) accommodation is around 1.37 days, an increase of 0.06 days compared to July 2011, with details, foreign guests 3.48 days and domestic guests 1.36 days.
