Combined
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) (Star and Non-Star Hotels) in March 2011
reached 40.33%, down 0.15% compared to February 2011 which was recorded
at 40.48%. TPK for Star Hotels in Bandar Lampung in March 2011 reached
53.30 percent, down 1.57% compared to February 2010 which was recorded
at 54.88%. When compared to March 2010 which was recorded at 53.39%, the
TPK in March 2011 decreased by 0.09 percent which was due to a decrease
in the TPK in 4 and 5 star hotels. The TPK for other accommodation
(non-star hotels) in March 2011 reached 35.83%, an increase of 0.18 %
compared to February 2011, namely 35.64%.
The
number of guests staying in March 2011, in star and non-star hotels
(combined) was 86,725 people, consisting of 291 foreign guests and
86,434 domestic guests, an increase of 9,623 people (12.48%) compared to
February 2011, which was recorded at 76,606 people. The increase
occurred due to an increase in the number of foreign and domestic guests
in non-star hotels (8,613 people) and domestic guests in star hotels
(1,124 people), while foreign guests in star hotels actually decreased
by 114 people. The number of guests at star hotels reached 10,119
people, namely 155 foreign guests and 9,964 domestic guests. This number
increased 11.09% compared to the number of guests in February 2011
which reached 9,109 people. This increase occurred in 3, 4 and 5 star
hotels, while 1 and 2 star hotels experienced a decrease, by 176 people.
When compared to March 2010, the number of overnight guests increased
by 31.81%. This is due to an increase in the number of guests at 1, 2, 4
and 5 star hotels, while there has been a decline in 3 star hotels. The
number of guests staying in other accommodation (non-star hotels) in
March 2011 reached 76,606 people, 136 foreign guests and 76,470 domestic
guests, an increase of 8,613 people compared to February 2011 which was
recorded at 67,993 people. This increase occurred due to an increase in
the number of hotel guests, both foreign and domestic.
The
average length of stay for guests in March 2011 at star and non-star
hotels (combined) was around 1.46 days, up 0.05 days compared to
February 2011. Foreign guests stayed on average for 4.88 days, down 0.46
days compared to February 2011, while domestic guests averaged 1.44
days, up 0.03 days compared to February 2011. The average in star hotels
was 1.73 days or 0.18 days lower compared to the previous month, and
compared to last month. March 2010, lower by 0.45 days. The average
guest stay in other (non-star) accommodation is around 1.38 days, down
0.04 days compared to February 2011, with details, foreign guests 1.59
days and domestic guests 1.38 days.
