Seruti Data Collection Quarter II 2024

Seruti Data Collection Quarter II 2024

July 1, 2024 | BPS Activities

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bandar Lampung City carried out field data collection activities for the 2024 Quarterly Household Economic Survey (SERUTI) for the second quarter. In this quarter, the survey involved 20 households spread across 2 census blocks, with the support of 1 Field Enumerator (PPL) and 1 Field Monitoring Officer (PML). This quarter's SERUTI activities were not preceded by training because officers had conducted the same survey in the previous quarter, but a short briefing was still carried out to ensure that the concepts and definitions understood by officers were still appropriate.
SERUTI is a survey that aims to provide basic data for calculating household consumption expenditure (PK-RT) as an important component of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The data generated from this survey is very much needed to observe fluctuations and patterns of household consumption expenditure on a quarterly basis.
The follow-up to the SERUTI enumeration data is the processing stage to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data. It is hoped that the SERUTI data can provide a clear and accurate picture of household consumption conditions, so that it can support better economic planning and policy-making in the future.
