Village Potential Data Collection (PODES) 2024 is a data collection on the availability of infrastructure and potential owned by each administrative area at the village/sub-district, sub-district, and district/city levels throughout Indonesia. PODES is the only complete data collection at the village level conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). PODES 2024 will produce data for regional development needs, availability of infrastructure/facilities, and socio-economic conditions in each village/sub-district.
To ensure the smooth running of the data collection process, training for PODES officers is carried out in two sessions, namely online and offline. Online training will be held on April 29-30, 2024 and offline training will be held on May 1, 2024. The offline training session will take place at the Santika Hotel, Bandar Lampung.
The implementation of PODES 2024 involves many officers spread across various administrative levels, from the sub-district, sub-district, to city levels. The number of PODES officers in the Village is 21 PPL and 20 PML. The number of PODES officers in the Sub-district is 20 PPL and 2 PML. The number of PODES officers in the City is 2 PPL
After the training is completed, PODES data collection will be carried out from May 2 to May 31, 2024. During this period, PODES officers will record the potential in each village and sub-district, starting from geographical conditions, availability of infrastructure/facilities, and socio-economic conditions in each village/sub-district.
The 2024 Village Potential Data Collection is a strategic step in sustainable village development. The data obtained from PODES will be an important foundation for the government in formulating development policies that are in accordance with the needs and potential of each village in Indonesia.
Active participation from local governments, both at the village/sub-district, sub-district, and district/city levels, will be very necessary in the 2024 Podes data collection process. This participation will make the 2024 PODES data more valid and useful for development.
