Susenas is a routine activity of BPS which is held twice a year (semester). The first semester is held in March and the second semester is held in September. The March Susenas is used to estimate figures up to the district/city level, while the September Susenas is used to estimate the provincial level.
The implementation of Susenas and Seruti begins with inda training which is then followed by training for prospective officers. The implementation of officer training is carried out offline on 4-6 September 2024 at the Sheraton Hotel Bandar Lampung. The number of officers for Susenas and Seruti is 9 PML and 18 PCL. Field activities begin with updating/updating the census block contents. After the updating is carried out, the data entry activity for the updated results is carried out, then continued with the drawing of samples of prospective SUSENAS respondents. Selected samples for each census block are then checked to ensure that the existence and information of respondents in the updating document are correct. After the sample is final, the enumeration can be carried out.
The update implementation period is 11-15 September 2024, while the Seruti and Susenas field enumeration period is 20-30 September 2024. The number of updating samples is 18 BS, while the number of enumeration samples is 180 households. In the Susenas activity, there are 3 questionnaires used, namely the KOR document, the KP document, and the S document. In this period, all Susenas samples doubled as Seruti samples, the Seruti enumeration used a separate additional questionnaire that was separate from the Susenas questionnaire. The KOR document contains several chapters to obtain information including household members, education, immunization/breastfeeding and complementary foods, information and communication, health information, travel information, family planning information, housing information, and social protection information. The KP document is used to obtain information on expenditure that is approximated by consumption. The S document is used to obtain information related to Covid-19.
