Abstract

In October 2022 there was a deflation of 0.50 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 113.91. Of the 90 CPI cities, 61 cities experienced deflation and 29 cities experienced inflation. The highest deflation occurred in Gunung Sitoli at 1.48 percent with a CPI of 113.05 and the lowest occurred in Sampit at 0.01 percent with a CPI of 116.56.

The inflation rate for the calendar year (October 2022 to October 2021) is 4.86 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (October 2022 to October 2021) is 6.46 percent.
