The Combined Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) (Star and Non-Star Hotels) in July 2012 reached 42.14%, down 5.82% compared to June 2012 which was recorded at 47.96%. The TPK for Star Hotels in Bandar Lampung during July 2012 reached position 54 .99%, down 11.90% compared to June 2012 which was recorded at 66.89%. The TPK in July 2012 compared to July 2011 which was recorded at 56.94%, experienced a decrease of 1.95%. ROR for other accommodation (non-star hotels) throughout July 2012 was 36.84%, down 3.25% compared to June 2012 which was recorded at 40.09%.
The number of guests during July 2012 who stayed at star and non-star hotels (combined) was 85,207 people, consisting of 1,065 foreign guests and 84,142 domestic guests. This condition has decreased by 12,909 people (13.16%) compared to June 2012 which was recorded at 98,116 people. The number of guests during July 2012 at star hotels was 16,241 people, namely 944 foreign guests and 15,297 domestic guests. This number decreased by 9.51% compared to June 2012 when it was recorded at 17,947 people. The decline in the number of guests occurred in all star hotel groups. The number of guests during July 2012 who stayed in other accommodation (non-star hotels) was 68,966 people, consisting of 121 foreign guests and 68,845 domestic guests, down 11,203 people or around 13.98% compared to June 2012 which was recorded at 80,169 people. The decrease in the number of guests occurred in all groups of non-star hotel rooms/other accommodation. The number of guests staying at non-star hotels in July 2012 compared to July 2011, decreased by 12.56% from 78,872 people to 68,966 people.
The average length of stay for guests in July 2012 in star and non-star hotels (combined) was recorded at 1.41 days, up 0.04 days compared to June 2012. Foreign guests stayed an average of 1.90 days, down 0.32 days compared to June 2012, while the average stay for domestic guests was 1.40 days, up 0.04 days compared to June 2012. The average length of stay during July 2012 at star-rated hotels was 1.50 days, down 0.12 days compared to the previous month. The average length of stay for guests in other accommodation (non-star hotels) in July 2012 was around 1.36 days, up 0.11 days compared to June 2012, with details of foreign guests 7.50 days and domestic guests 1.35 days.
