Abstract

The Combined Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) (Star and Non-Star Hotels) in March 2012 reached 42.69%, up 0.97% compared to February 2012 which was recorded at 41.72%. TPK for Star Hotels in Bandar Lampung in March 2012 reached 55.43%, up 2.01% compared to February 2012 which was recorded at 53.42%. When compared to the TPK for star hotels in March 2011 which was recorded at 53.30%, the TPK in March 2012 increased by 2.13%. ROR for other accommodation (non-star hotels) in March 2012 reached 37.29%, up 0.65% compared to February 2012 which was recorded at 36.64%.

The number of guests staying in March 2012, in star and non-star hotels (combined) was 92,540 people, consisting of 906 foreign guests and 91,634 domestic guests, an increase of 15,959 people (20.84%) compared to February 2012, which was recorded at 76,581 people. The number of guests at star hotels in March 2012 was 15,795 people, namely 861 foreign guests and 14,934 domestic guests. This number increased 26.58% compared to the number of guests in February 2012 which was recorded at 12,478 people. The increase in the number of guests, both foreign and domestic, occurred in all star hotel groups. The number of guests staying in other accommodation (non-star hotels) in March 2012 was 76,745 people, consisting of 45 foreign guests and 76,700 domestic guests, an increase of 12,642 people or around 19.72% compared to February 2012 which was recorded at 64,103 people. The increase in the number of guests, both foreign and domestic, occurred in all room groups, except for the > 41 room group.

The average length of stay for guests in March 2012 at star and non-star hotels (combined) was recorded at 1.34 days, down 0.09 days compared to February 2012. The average length of stay for foreign guests was 1.83 days, up 0.26 days compared to February 2012, while domestic guests averaged 1.33 days, down 0.10 days compared to February 2012. The average length of stay at star-rated hotels in March 2012 was 1.52 days, down 0.14 days compared to February 2012. Average The length of stay for guests in other (non-star) accommodation is around 1.25 days, down 0.08 days compared to February 2012, with details, foreign guests 2.25 days and domestic guests 1.25 days.
