Fish Auction Place Survey (TPI) Quarter II 2023

Collection of fisheries sector data that is more complete, accurate and up to date is urgently needed in policy formulation so that the resulting policies are more targeted and on the expected targets. Fisheries data that has been collected by the Central Bureau of Statistics is fish production data collected through a legal fishery company approach, both fish farming companies and fishing companies, and Fishery Ports (PP) whether they have Fish Auction Places (TPI) or not, as well as Traditional Fish Landing (PIT). Fishing company data is collected on an annual basis, Fishing Port data and Traditional Fish Landing are collected on a quarterly basis, while TPI data is collected on an annual basis.
The TPI Fisheries survey activity was preceded by a field officer training activity which was held on March 16 2023 online. The number of TPI Fisheries Survey officers at BPS Bandar Lampung City was 2 PPL and 1 PML. Field survey activities are scheduled to be carried out on a quarterly basis. Activities in the second quarter will be held in July 2023.
