Production Balance Quarterly Special Survey (SKTNP) 2023 - Quarter II

One of the BPS field activities in Bandar Lampung City is the Production Balance Quarterly Special Enumeration Survey (SKTNP). GDP/GRDP is an indicator used to see economic growth. In compiling GDP/GDP, data on prices and production of goods and services is required. Because price and production data are not always available quarterly, a special survey is needed to look for production indicators every quarter. One of the objectives of this survey is to obtain production indicators for goods and services that are useful in preparing quarterly GRDP/GDP. As the name suggests, the survey is conducted quarterly, and consists of SKTNP-Goods and SKTNP-Services. The scope of SKTNP Goods includes livestock, mining and quarrying, ice production, water supply and waste management and recycling.
The Production Balance Quarterly Special Survey (SKTNP) activity in Bandar Lampung City was preceded by field officer training activities which were held on 20-21 March 2023 offline at the Whiz Prime Hotel, Bandar Lampung City. The number of SKTNP-goods officers was 2 PPL and 2 PML, while for SKTNP-services officers there were 2 PPL and 2 PML. This survey field activity is scheduled to be carried out quarterly for a year, namely in April, July, October 2023 and January 2024 with a sample size of 12 companies for SKTNP-goods and 36 companies for SKTNP-services.
In the second quarter of 2023, the SKTNP will be implemented on the 1-31st of July 2023.
