Fish Auction Place Survey (TPI) Quarter III 2023

Collection of more complete, accurate and up to date data on the fisheries sector is very much needed in policy formulation so that the resulting policies are more focused and meet the expected targets. The fisheries data that has been collected by the Central Statistics Agency is fish production data collected through the approach of legal entity fisheries companies, both fish farming companies and fishing companies, and Fishing Ports (PP) whether they have Fish Auction Places (TPI) or not, and Traditional Fish Landing (PIT). Fishing company data is collected annually, Fishing Port and Traditional Fish Landing data is collected quarterly, while TPI data is collected annually.
TPI Fisheries survey activities were preceded by field officer training activities which were held online on March 16 2023. The number of TPI Fisheries Survey officers at BPS Bandar Lampung City is 2 PPL and 1 PML. This survey field activity is scheduled to be carried out every quarter. Activities in the third quarter will be held in October 2023.
