Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in eight expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 5.08 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.76 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.75 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.63 percent; transportation group at 0.88 percent; education group at 3.77 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 0.45 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 3.11 percent. Furthermore, there were three groups experiencing y-on-y deflation, namely the health group at 1.01; information, communication and financial services at 0.39 percent; and the recreation, sports and culture group of 1.46.

Bandar Lampung's deflation rate for June 2024 month to month (m-to-m) is 0.01 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate is 0.44 percent
