May 2024, Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Bandar Lampung City will be 2.44 percent

In May 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Bandar Lampung City will be 2.44 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.12.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in eight expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 5.89 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.73 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.79 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.77 percent; transportation group by 0.72 percent; education group at 3.69 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 0.56 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 2.60 percent. Furthermore, three groups experienced y-on-y deflation, namely the health group at 1.49; information, communication and financial services at 0.52 percent and the recreation, sports and culture group at 0.65.

The Bandar Lampung inflation rate for May 2024 month to month (m-to-m) is 0.08 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate is 0.45 percent
