Abstract

In March 2022 there was inflation of 0.93 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.61. Of the 90 CPI cities, 88 cities experienced inflation and 2 cities experienced inflation deflation.

The highest inflation occurred in Marauke at 1.86 percent with a CPI of 109.13 and the lowest was in Kupang at 0.09 percent with CPI respectively of 107.27. The two cities experiencing deflation are Kendari and Tual respectively by 0.07 percent and 0.27 percent.

The inflation rate for the calender year (March 2022 to December 2022) is 0.90 percent and year-on-year inflation rate (March 2022 against March 2021) of 2.31 percent.
