Abstract
In
April 2021, Bandar Lampung City experienced deflation of 0.18 percent, as
indicated by a decrease in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 107.14 in March
2021 to 106.95 in April 2021. Meanwhile, the inflation rate for the calendar
year (year to date / ytd) and the year on year inflation rate (year on year /
YoY) were recorded at 0.55 percent and 1.78 percent, respectively.
Of
the 90 CPI cities, 18 cities experienced deflation and 72 cities experienced
inflation. The deepest deflation was recorded in Kota Jayapura at 1.26 percent,
while the lowest deflation was recorded in Kota Tanjung Pandan at 0.02 percent.
On the other hand, the highest inflation was recorded in Kotamobagu at 1.31
percent, while the lowest inflation was recorded in Yogyakarta at 0.01 percent.
If sorted from the highest deflation, Bandar Lampung ranks 9 out of 18 cities
experiencing deflation.
