The total export value of Lampung Province in September 2013 reached US$374.8 million or an increase of US$83 million (28.44%) compared to exports in August 2013 which were recorded at US$291.8 million. Exports from January - September 2013 compared to January - September 2012, increased by US$ 127.2 million (4.74%).
The five main categories of goods in September 2013 were coffee, tea, spices; animal/vegetable fats & oils; fish and shrimp; wood pulp/pulp and processed fruits/vegetables. The increase in exports occurred in 5 main categories of goods, namely animal/vegetable fats & oils up US$ 33.1 million (33.94%), Coffee, tea, spices US$ 12.3 million (13.26%), Fish and shrimp US$8.2 million (55.89%), wood pulp/pulp US$8.9 million (82.20%) and processed fruit/vegetables US$5.3 million (48.76%).
The largest contribution to export value for the period January - September 2013 occurred in animal/vegetable fats and oils; coffee, tea, and spices; fish and shrimp; wood pulp/pulp and processed fruit/vegetables, each contributing 34.96%; 23.69%; 5.19%; 4.43% and 3.89% of total exports January - September 2013 Lampung Province. The role of these five groups reached 72.16% of total exports in the same period.
The main export destination country in September 2013 was the United States which reached US$47 million, followed by the Netherlands, India, China and Italy respectively US$39.6 million, US$38.1 million, US$25 million and US$23.7 million. .
