Abstract

The total export value of Lampung Province in July 2013 reached US$362 million or an increase of US$49.4 million (15.83%) compared to exports in June 2013 which were recorded at US$312.6 million. Exports from January - July 2013 compared to January - July 2012, increased by US$ 137.6 million (6.86%). The five main categories of goods in July 2013 were coffee, tea, spices; animal/vegetable fats & oils; fish and shrimp; wood pulp/pulp and processed fruits/vegetables. The increase in exports occurred in 4 main categories of goods, while 1 main category of goods fell, namely animal/vegetable fats & oils. Coffee, tea, spices experienced an increase in exports of around 122.01% or US$70.56 million, fish and shrimp 52.47% (US$9.77 million), wood pulp/pulp 50.54% (US$5.32 million) and processed fruit/vegetables 11.21% (US$1.52 million). The largest contribution to export value for the period January - July 2013 occurred in animal/vegetable fats and oils; coffee, tea, and spices; fish and shrimp; wood pulp/pulp and processed fruit/vegetables, each contributing 36.62%; 20.42%; 5.05%; 4.39% and 3.85% of total exports January - July 2013 Lampung Province. The role of these five groups reached 70.33% of total exports for the same period. The main export destination country in July 2013 was the United States which reached US$46.4 million, followed by the Netherlands, India, Vietnam and China respectively US$41.9 million, US$31.6 million, US$27.8 million and US$27. .7 million. The role of the five reached 48.46% of total exports in July 2013.
