The Combined Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) (Star Hotels and Other Accommodation) in March 2013 reached 43.48%, down 2.47% compared to February 2013 which was recorded at 45.95%. TPK for Star Hotels in Bandar Lampung during March 2013 reached 55.88%, up 3.29% compared to February 2013 which was recorded at 52.59%. ROR for star hotels in March 2013 compared to March 2012 (55.43%) increased by 0.45%. The ROR for other accommodation throughout March 2013 was 39.10%, down 4.73% compared to February 2013 which was recorded at 43.83%. The number of guests during March 2013 who stayed at star hotels and other accommodation (combined) reached 48,471 people, consisting of 1,230 foreign guests and 47,241 domestic guests. This condition experienced an increase of 7,821 people (19.24%) compared to February 2013 which was recorded at 40,650 people.
The number of guests during March 2013 at star hotels was 13,117 people, namely 221 foreign guests and 12,896 domestic guests. This number increased by 37.73% compared to February 2013 when it was recorded at 9,524 people. The number of guests during March 2013 who stayed in other accommodation was 35,354 people, consisting of 1,009 foreign guests and 34,345 domestic guests, an increase of 4,228 people or around 13.58% compared to February 2013 which was recorded at 31,126 people. The increase in the number of guests occurred in all room groups < 25 other accommodation. The number of guests staying at other accommodation hotels in March 2013 compared to March 2012 increased by 6.44% from 33,214 people to 35,354 people.
The average length of stay for guests in March 2013 in star hotels and other accommodation (combined) was recorded at 1.67 days, up 0.18 days compared to February 2013. Foreign guests stayed an average of 2.43 days, down 0.45 days compared to February 2013, while the average stay for domestic guests was 1.65 days, up 0.20 days compared to February 2013. The average length of stay during March 2013 at star-rated hotels was 2.43 days, up 0.57 days compared to the previous month. The average length of stay for guests in other accommodation in March 2013 was around 1.39 days, an increase of 0.02 days compared to February 2013, with details for foreign guests 1.55 days and domestic guests 1.39 days.
