The total export value of Lampung Province in February 2013 reached US$305.5 million or decreased by US$49.9 million (14.05%) compared to exports in January 2013 which were recorded at US$355.4 million. Exports in February 2013, compared with February 2012, rose US$77.5 million (33.99%) from US$228 million.
The five main categories of goods throughout 2013 were animal/vegetable fats & oils; coffee, tea, spices; rubber and rubber goods; fish and shrimp; and Processed fruits/vegetables. The highest decline in exports occurred in the 2 main categories of goods, while the 3 main categories of goods that increased were coffee, tea, spices; processed fruits/vegetables and rubber and rubber goods. Animal/vegetable fats & oils experienced a decline in exports reaching 26.23% or US$47.5 million and fish and shrimp fell by US$0.9 million and fell by US$2.25 million.
The largest contribution to export value in February 2013 occurred in animal/vegetable fats and oils; coffee, tea, and spices; rubber and rubber goods; fish and shrimp, each contributing 47.64%; 15.95%; 4.15%; and 4.1% of total exports in February 2013 from Lampung Province. The role of these four groups reached 71.83% of total exports in the same period.
The main export destination country in February 2013 was Italy which reached US$39.5 million, followed by the Netherlands, India and Taiwan at US$32.1 million, US$31.6 million and US$24.5 million respectively. The role of the four reached 47.43% of total exports in that period.
