The total export value of Lampung Province in February 2012 reached US$ 228 million or decreased by US$ 82.5 million (26.59%) compared to exports in January 2012. Exports in February 2012, compared to February 2011, increased by US$ 27.5 million (13.68 %) of US$200.5 million.
Four main categories of goods experienced a decline in export value in February 2012. The largest decline in exports occurred in the animal/vegetable fats & oils category, around US$ 101.8 million; food industry dregs/waste US$1.3 million; drinks US$0.2 million; and processed meat and fish around US$0.1 million. The six main categories of goods that experienced an increase in export value were pulp/pulp, up US$10.6 million; coffee, tea, spices worth US$6.7 million; processed fruit/vegetables US$3.1 million; organic chemicals US$1.4 million; Rubber and rubber goods US$1.2 million; and fish and shrimp US$0.017 million.
Export value in February 2012, especially animal/vegetable fats and oils; coffee, tea, and spices; pulp/pulp; and fish and shrimp have a relatively large contribution, namely 27.06% each; 13.30%; 8.91%; and 7.68% of total exports in February 2012 in Lampung Province. The role of these four groups reached 56.94% of the total export value in the same period.
The main destination country for exports in February 2012 was America which reached US$ 34.2 million, followed by Japan, China and India with US$ 31.4 million, US$ 30.3 million and US$ 26.5 million respectively and the role of the four reached 53 .70% of total exports for that month.
