The Combined Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) (Star and Non-Star Hotels) in December 2012 reached 47.42%, down 0.74% compared to November 2012 which was recorded at 48.16%. TPK for Star Hotels in Bandar Lampung during December 2012 reached 56.02%, down 6.95% compared to November 2012 which was recorded at 62.97%. ROR for star hotels in December 2012 compared to December 2011 which was recorded at 62.84%, decreased by 6.82%. ROR for other accommodation (non-star hotels) throughout December 2012 was 43.80%, up 1.97% compared to November 2012 which was recorded at 41.83%. The number of guests during December 2012 who stayed at star and non-star hotels (combined) reached 102,496 people, consisting of 1,728 foreign guests and 100,768 domestic guests. This condition experienced an increase of 8,101 people (8.58%) compared to November 2012 which was recorded at 94,395 people.
The number of guests during December 2012 at star hotels was 16,988 people, namely 1,662 foreign guests and 15,326 domestic guests. This number increased 2.60% compared to November 2012 when it was recorded at 16,558 people. The increase in the number of guests occurred in the 1, 2 and 3 star hotel groups. The number of guests during December 2012 who stayed in other accommodation (non-star hotels) was 85,508 people, consisting of 66 foreign guests and 85,442 domestic guests, an increase of 7,671 people or around 9 .86% compared to November 2012 which recorded 77,837 people. The increase in the number of guests occurred in all groups of non-star hotel rooms/other accommodation. The number of guests staying at non-star hotels in December 2012 compared to December 2011 increased by 4.08% from 82,160 people to 85,508 people.
The average length of stay for guests in December 2012 in star and non-star hotels (combined) was recorded at 1.38 days, down 0.03 days compared to November 2012. Foreign guests stayed an average of 2.56 days, up 0.99 days compared to November 2012, while the average stay for domestic guests was 1.34 days, down 0.06 days compared to November 2012. The average length of stay during December 2012 at star-rated hotels was 1.64 days, up 0.04 days compared to the previous month. The average length of stay for guests in other accommodation (non-star hotels) in December 2012 was around 1.26 days, down 0.05 days compared to November 2012, with details of foreign guests 7.52 days and domestic guests 1.26 days.
