Abstract

PADDY

Rice production in 2011 (Forecast Figure III) is estimated at 2.98 million tons of dry milled grain (GKG), an increase of 169.26 thousand tons (6.03 percent) compared to production in 2010. The increase in rice production in 2011 was due to an increase in productivity of 0.91 Ku/Ha (1.91 percent) and an increase in harvested area of 23.84 thousand hectares (4.04 percent).

CORN

Corn production in 2011 (Forecast Figure III) is estimated at 1.86 million dry shelled tons, down 266.67 thousand tons (12.54 percent) compared to production in 2010. The decline in corn production in 2011 occurred due to a decrease in productivity of 0.03 Ku /Ha (0.06 percent) and a decrease in harvested area of 55.87 thousand hectares (12.49 percent).

SOYA BEAN

Soybean production in 2011 (Forecast Figure III) is estimated at 10.56 thousand tons of dry beans, an increase of around 3.24 thousand tons (44.23 percent) compared to production in 2010. The increase in soybean production in 2011 occurred due to an increase in harvested area of 2,000. 64 thousand hectares (42.58 percent).
