First Development Kelurahan Cantik : Statistical Literacy

Creating a prosperous and sustainable sub-district through targeted development. Statistical data is the key to understanding problems, needs and planning appropriate solutions for village development. With good statistical literacy, village communities can actively participate in building a better environment. Comprehensive data understanding will encourage smarter and more sustainable decision making.

On Wednesday, May 22 2024, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bandar Lampung City held the first beautiful village development in the form of statistical literacy. This event took place in the BPS Hall of Bandar Lampung City and was attended by selected statistical agents from various sub-districts. Participants receive in-depth training regarding data collection techniques, analysis, and the use of statistical information to support more planned and sustainable development in sub-districts.

Through this coaching, it is hoped that statistical agents can become agents of change in their respective villages, encourage community participation, and assist policy makers in formulating sub-district programs that suit local potential and needs.
