Focus Group Discussion Kelurahan Cantik Kota Bandar Lampung

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) launched the Kelurahan / Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik) program. This program aims to foster, build and improve the competence of village officials so that they are able to understand statistics. The selected village will be accompanied by BPS to become an efficient village and able to develop its village through the data it has. In Bandar Lampung City, the sub-districts that were chosen to become Cinta Statistik Villages were Palangka Rajabasa Pemuka and Korpri Jaya. The two sub-districts are fostered by BPS Bandar Lampung City.

To start the development of beautiful urban villages, BPS Bandar Lampung City held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in the two villages. FGDs were conducted twice on two different days for each kelurahan. The participants in this FGD were the head of the RT, the head of the neighborhood, all sub-district offices, the Lurah, and the Camat from the kelurahan concerned. For Kelurahan Korpri Jaya, the FGD will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022. While for Kelurahan Rajabasa Pemuka it will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022.

Some of the things discussed in this FGD were discussions related to Kelurahan Cantik activities, discussed village statistics, along with an overview of things that could make statistics in the two villages even better. This activity was also attended by representatives from the population and PMK offices of Bandar Lampung City. The activities ran smoothly as expected by BPS. Hopefully in the future the development activities of the Cantik Village can run smoothly and achieve the expected output and putcome.
