Captive Power Survey 2023

The Captive Power Survey was conducted for the first time in 1999, targeting medium and large scale manufacturing industry companies. After not doing it for a long time, in 2010 the Captive Power Survey was again carried out targeting non-manufacturing industry companies and government agencies. The purpose of this activity is to obtain the consumption of electrical energy by economic activity actors and government agencies/companies, and to obtain the amount of electrical energy generated by economic activity actors themselves. This survey activity was preceded by field officer training activities which were held on April 18, 2023 offline at the BPS Hall, Bandar Lampung City. The number of captive power survey officers at BPS Bandar Lampung City was 3 PPL and 1 PML. This survey field activity is scheduled to be carried out in the period May - August 2023 with a large sample of 85 companies.
