Abstract

In October 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Bandar Lampung City was 1.83 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.75. Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in nine expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 2.21 percent; clothing and footwear group by 2.08 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 1.11 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 1.07 percent; health group by 0.46 percent; education group by 7.26 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 0.65 percent; and personal care and other services group by 5.05 percent. Furthermore, there were three groups experiencing y-on-y deflation, namely the transportation group by 0.32 percent; information, communication and financial services group by 0.73 percent; and recreation, sports and culture group by 0.81 percent. Bandar Lampung inflation rate in October 2024 month to month (m-to-m) was 0.16 percent and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 1.05 percent.
