In September 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Bandar Lampung City was 1.92 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.58.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in nine expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 2.26 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 1.71 percent; the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.96 percent; the household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 1.28 percent; the health group by 1.16 percent; the transportation group by 0.61 percent; the education group by 7.21 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 0.67 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 4.77 percent. Furthermore, there were two groups experiencing y-on-y deflation, namely information, communication and financial services by 0.71 percent; and recreation, sports and culture group by 0.81 percent.

Bandar Lampung inflation rate in September 2024 month to month (m-to-m) was 0.19 percent and year to date inflation rate (y-to-d) was 0.89 percent
