Price Development of Grain and Rice Producers in Lampung Province June 2022

Abstract

During June 2022, the Grain Producer Price Survey recorded 49 observations with 20 observations (40.82%), and 29 observations (59.18%).

The highest price of grain at the farm level reached Rp. 5,000.00 per kg on GKP quality grain with Ciherang variety found in Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency. This price is higher than the Government Purchase Price (HPP), which is Rp. 4,200.00 per kg. While the lowest price of grain reached Rp. 3,850.00 per kg on GKP quality grain with Emerging Varieties found in Palas District, South Lampung Regency.

During June 2022, the rice price survey in mills recorded 22 observations in 5 selected districts. Based on the quality of rice, the observations made were dominated by premium quality rice. Based on the type of rice traded, it is dominated by Ciherang.

The highest price of rice at the milling level reached Rp. 11,000.00 per kg for Premium quality. Meanwhile, the lowest price of rice traded this month reached Rp. 7,800.00 per kg for Medium quality rice.
