Average Grain Prices (GKP) in Farmers Down 10.50 percent

Abstract

During May 2020, the Grain Producer Price Survey recorded 45 observations. Observation was dominated by the quality of unhusked paddy grain (GKP).

The highest grain price at the farm level reaches Rp. 4,200.00 per kg in GKP quality grain with Ciherang variety is in Sragi District, South Lampung Regency. The lowest grain prices reach Rp. 3,700.00 per kg in GKP quality grain with Appearing and Strain Varieties are found in Palas District, South Lampung Regency and Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency. This price is below the Government Purchase Price (HPP) of Rp. 4,200.00 per kg.

At the mill level, the highest grain price is Rp. 4,300.00 per kg in GKP quality grain with Ciherang variety is found in Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency and Sragi District, South Lampung Regency, while the lowest grain price for the GKP quality group is Rp. 3,800.00 per kg with Appearing Varieties found in Palas District, South Lampung Regency. The price is below the HPP which is Rp. 4,250.00 per kg.
