Development of the Lampung Composite Consumer Price Index December 2019

December 2019, Lampung Combined CPI experienced an increase in the index from 139.81 in November 2019 to 140.46 in December 2019, thus inflation of 0.46 percent.

Based on the calculation of calendar year inflation (point to point) December 2019 experienced inflation of 3.44 percent, while inflation year-on-year (yoy) in December 2019 against December 2018 was 3.44 percent.

Of the seven expenditure groups, six expenditure groups experienced inflation, namely the foodstuffs group experienced inflation of 1.26 percent; processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.10 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group 0.14 percent; clothing group 0.54 percent; health group 0.54 percent; and transportation, communication and financial services 0.32 percent. In contrast, the education, recreation and sports group experienced deflation of 0.01 percent.

Of the two monitoring cities in Lampung in December 2019, all experienced inflation. Bandar Lampung inflation was 0.47 percent, and Metro inflation was 0.40 percent.
