Average of Unhusked Rice Price (GKP) in Farmers Decreased by 1.36 percent

Abstract

During February 2018, the Rice Producer Price Survey recorded 47 observations. Observation is dominated by the high quality Grain of Harvest Grain (GKP) and low quality. There was no group of grain quality of dry milled rice (GKG).

The highest price of grain at the farm level reaches Rp. 6,300.00 per kg on GKP quality grain with Ciherang Varieties are located in Palas Subdistrict, South Lampung District and Trimurjo Subdistrict, Central Lampung Regency. The lowest price of grain reaches Rp. 5.100,00 per kg on GKP quality grain ie IR64 Varieties located in Penengah Subdistrict, South Lampung Regency. The price is above the Government Purchase Price (HPP) of Rp. 3,700.00 per kg.

At the grinding level, the highest grain price is Rp. 6.350,00 per kg in GKP quality grain found in District Trimurjo, Central Lampung Regency, while the lowest grain price of GKP quality group is Rp. 5,225.00 per kg with IR64 Varieties are located in Penengah Subdistrict, South Lampung Regency. The price is above the HPP is Rp. 3,750.00 per kg.

The price of unhulled rice at the farmer level fell in February. The average decrease in GKP quality group price at the farm level is 1.36 percent from Rp. 5,930,81 per kg to Rp. 5,850.00 per kg. With the same quality group, the price of grain at the milling level decreased by 1.19 percent from Rp. 5,994.65 per kg to Rp. 5,923.30 per kg.
