Abstract

Lampung's economy in 2016 as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached Rp 281.11 trillion and GDP per capita reached USD 34.3 million.
Lampung economic growth of 5.15 percent, relatively strong compared to 2015 grew by 5.13 percent. On the production side, the highest growth achieved by the undertaking of Procurement Electricity and Gas; and Information and Communication respectively by 22.49 percent and 10.63 percent. On the expenditure side the highest growth by component Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) amounted to 8.61 per cent, followed by Household Consumption Expenditure of 5.72 percent and Consumption Expenditures Non-Profit Institutions serving Households (LNPRT) by 5.56 per cent ,
Economic Lampung fourth quarter of 2016 when compared to the fourth quarter of 2015 (y-on-y) grew by 5.01 per cent slowed down when compared to the same period the previous year by 5.33 percent.
Economic Lampung fourth quarter of 2016 contracted by 8.59 percent when compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q). On the production side, this is due to seasonal effects in the business field Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries who contracted 31.32 percent. On the expenditure side caused by a decrease Exports of Goods and Services, and Household Consumption Expenditure.
Spatially, Lampung economic growth in 2016 is in fourth position after Bengkulu in Sumatra, West Sumatra and North Sumatra.
