The number of agricultural households in 2013 was 1,226.46 thousand households, the food crops subsector 743.54 thousand households, horticulture 419.45 thousand households, plantations 806.53 thousand households, animal husbandry 555.24 thousand households, fisheries 68.06 thousand households, and forestry 254.36 thousand households.
The number of smallholder farming households in Lampung Province in 2013 was 362.15 thousand households or 29.71 percent of agricultural households using land, a decrease of 84.98 thousand households or a decrease of 19.01 percent compared to 2003.
The number of farmers working in the agricultural sector is 1,420.61 thousand people, the largest in the Plantation subsector is 873.08 thousand people and the smallest is in the fisheries subsector, fishing activities are 18.26 thousand people.

The number of cattle and buffalo on May 1 2013 was 596.38 thousand heads, consisting of 573.48 thousand beef cattle, 268 dairy cows and 22.63 thousand buffalo.
