The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Bandar Lampung during October 2013 reached 60.71%, up 3.40% compared to September 2013 which was recorded at 57.31%. ROR for star hotels in October 2013 compared to October 2012 which was recorded at 65.50%, decreased by 4.79%. ROR for other accommodation (other accommodation hotels) throughout October 2013 was 42.17%, down 1.16% compared to September 2013 which was recorded at 43.33%. The ROR for other accommodation in October 2013 compared to October 2012 was recorded at 41.08%, an increase of 1.09%.
The number of guests during October 2013 at star hotels was 16,738 people, namely 1,947 foreign guests and 14,791 domestic guests. This number increased by 2,242 people or around 15.47% compared to September 2013 which was recorded at 14,496 people. The development of guests staying at star hotels in October 2013 increased in all star hotel groups compared to the previous month. The number of guests during October 2013 who stayed in other accommodation was 70,582 people, consisting of 60 foreign guests and 70,522 domestic guests, down 1,590 people or around 2.20% compared to September 2013 which was recorded at 72,172 people. The number of guests staying in other accommodation in October 2013 decreased in the room group < 25 compared to the previous month. The number of guests staying at star hotels in October 2013, compared to October 2012, decreased from 16,961 people to 16,738 people. The number of guests staying in other accommodation in October 2013 compared to October 2012 decreased from 79,220 people to 70,582 people.
The average length of stay for guests in October 2013 at star hotels was recorded at 1.48 days, down 0.08 days compared to September 2013. The average length of stay for foreign guests at star hotels in October 2013 was 1.44 days and for domestic guests the average -average stay is 1.49 days. A decrease in the average length of stay of guests at star hotels in October 2013 occurred in 3, 4 and 5 star hotels compared to the previous month. The same thing happened with the average length of stay for guests in October 2013 when compared to October 2012. The average length of stay for guests during October 2013 in other accommodation was around 1.60 days, an increase of 0.05 days compared to the previous month. The average length of stay for foreign guests in other accommodation in October 2013 was 13.62 days and the average stay for domestic guests was 1.58 days. The increase in the average length of stay of guests in other accommodation in October 2013 occurred in all room groups compared to the previous month. When compared to October 2012, the average length of stay of guests in other accommodation in October 2013 also experienced similar conditions.
