The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Bandar Lampung during June 2013 reached 55.94%, up 0.19% compared to May 2013 which was recorded at 55.75%. When compared to June 2012, which recorded 66.89% ROR for star hotels in June 2013, it decreased by 10.95%. ROR for other accommodation (other accommodation hotels) throughout June 2013 was 42.57%, an increase of 2.44% compared to May 2013 which was recorded at 40.13%. When compared to June 2012, which was recorded at 40.09%, the ROR for other accommodation increased by 2.48%.
The number of guests during June 2013 at star hotels was 16,093 people, namely 1,808 foreign guests and 14,285 domestic guests. This number decreased by 470 people or around 2.84% compared to May 2013 which was recorded at 16,563 people. The number of guests during June 2013 who stayed in other accommodation was 76,395 people, consisting of 104 foreign guests and 76,291 domestic guests, an increase of 2,883 people or around 3.92% compared to May 2013 which was recorded at 73,512 people. The number of guests staying at star hotels in June 2013 compared to June 2012, decreased from 17,947 people to 16,093 people. Likewise, the number of guests staying in other accommodation in June 2013 compared to June 2012 decreased from 80,169 people to 76,394 people.
The average length of stay for guests in June 2013 at star hotels was recorded at 1.68 days, an increase of 0.26 days compared to May 2013. The average length of stay for foreign guests at star hotels in June 2013 was 1.77 days and for domestic guests the average -average stay is 1.67 days. The increase in the average length of stay of guests at star hotels in June 2013 occurred in all star hotel groups compared to the previous month. The average length of stay for guests during June 2013 in other accommodation was around 1.40 days, an increase of 0.04 days compared to the previous month. The average length of stay for foreign guests in other accommodation in June 2013 was 2.62 days and the average length of stay for domestic guests was 1.39 days. The increase in the average length of stay of guests in other accommodation in June 2013 occurred in all room groups compared to the previous month.
