The Combined Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) (Star and Non-Star Hotels) in January 2013 reached 40.21%, down 7.95% compared to December 2012 which was recorded at 47.47%. TPK for Star Hotels in Bandar Lampung during January 2013 reached 46.70%, down 9.32% compared to December 2012 which was recorded at 56.02%. ROR for star hotels in January 2013 compared to January 2012 which was recorded at 48.43%, decreased by 1.74%. ROR for other accommodation (non-star hotels) throughout January 2013 was 37.05%, down 6.75% compared to December 2012 which was recorded at 43.80%.
The number of guests during January 2013 who stayed at star and non-star hotels (combined) reached 47,002 people, consisting of 917 foreign guests and 46,085 domestic guests. This condition has decreased by 55,494 people (-54.14%) compared to December 2012 which was recorded at 102,496 people. The number of guests during January 2013 at star hotels was 14,895 people, namely 904 foreign guests and 13,991 domestic guests. This number decreased by 12.32% compared to December 2012 when it was recorded at 16,988 people. The increase in the number of guests occurred in the 1, 2, 4 and 5 star hotel groups. The number of guests during January 2013 who stayed in other accommodation (non-star hotels) was 32,107 people, consisting of 13 foreign guests and 32,094 domestic guests, a decrease of 53,401 people or around 62.45% compared to December 2012 which recorded 85,508 people. The decrease in the number of guests occurred in all groups of non-star hotel rooms/other accommodation. The number of guests staying at non-star hotels in January 2013 compared to January 2012 decreased by 55.85% from 72,725 people to 32,107 people.
The average length of stay for guests in January 2013 in star and non-star hotels (combined) was recorded at 1.45 days, up 0.07 days compared to December 2012. Foreign guests stayed an average of 1.94 days, down 0.62 days compared to December 2012, while the average stay for domestic guests was 1.44 days, up 0.10 days compared to December 2012. The average length of stay during January 2013 at star-rated hotels was 1.68 days, up 0.04 days compared to the previous month. The average length of stay for guests in other accommodation (non-star hotels) in January 2013 was around 1.34 days, up 0.08 days compared to December 2012, with details of foreign guests 10.30 days and domestic guests 1.33 days.
