On July 25-26, 2024, the BPS KSA Team of Bandar Lampung City held an introduction to the Area Sample Framework Survey (KSA) for student interns in the Tanjung Baru Kedamaian area.
This activity aims to provide valuable field experience to future statisticians, so that they can gain a deep understanding of the concepts, methodologies, and practical applications of this essential statistical data collection technique.
For two full days, the Polstat STIS student interns were directly involved in a series of KSA survey stages, starting from determining area boundaries, selecting samples, to collecting data in the field. With guidance and direction from a team of experts, they enthusiastically applied the theoretical knowledge they had learned so far, as well as honing their observation, analytical, and technical skills that are very important for the statistical profession.
This field practice training activity is expected to enrich insight and provide an unforgettable experience for Polstat STIS student interns. Hopefully this valuable experience can be a strong foundation for their future statistical careers. 💪
