BPS participates in Bandar Lampung City Stunting Consultation 2024: Cooperation to Reduce Stunting

On Friday, June 21 2024, at the Semergou Building Hall, the Bandar Lampung City Government carried out the 2024 Bandar Lampung city-level Stunting Consultation Event as an implementation of Presidential Regulation Number 72 of 2021 concerning the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction and the mandate of the Ministry of Home Affairs Letter Number 400.5.7/477 /Bangda dated 23 January 2024 regarding the Implementation of Convergence to Accelerate Stunting Reduction.

"This Stunting Consultation is an important moment for all of us to work together to find solutions and strategies for handling stunting in the city of Bandar Lampung. Stunting is not only a health problem, but is a human resource development problem that we must address together.

“Tackling stunting must be a priority for all of us. With strong cooperation and commitment from all parties, I am sure we can reduce the stunting rate in the city of Bandar Lampung. This stunting reduction acceleration program is included in one of the national development priority programs, where in the Limited Meeting of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Joko Widodo in 2024 again emphasized that every region supports achieving the 2024 stunting prevalence target of a maximum of 14%.

On this occasion, the Bandar Lampung City Government expressed its appreciation for its participation in the Convergence Action on efforts to reduce stunting at the Bandar Lampung city level. Followed by the reading of the Stunting Consultation Agreement and the Signing of a Joint Commitment to Accelerate Stunting Reduction in the City of Bandar Lampung in 2025. As well as a presentation on the Implementation of the Acceleration of Stunting Reduction in the City of Bandar Lampung. 2023 and 2025 Plans.
