During the meeting, the Head of BPS emphasized the importance of optimizing the 2023 Agricultural Census (ST) data as a foundation for preparing programs and budgets in the agricultural sector of Bandar Lampung City. ST2023 data is believed to be able to provide a comprehensive picture of the profile and potential of agriculture at the regional level.
Apart from that, the Head of BPS also invited the Department of Agriculture to improve coordination in joint tiling activities and Area Sample Frames (KSA). This is important to improve the quality of horticultural production data at the farmer group and cooperative level," emphasized the Head of BPS.
At this meeting, the Head of BPS also invited the Department of Agriculture to participate in the sit-in activity for the agricultural economic survey which will be carried out by BPS in the near future. It is hoped that close collaboration between BPS and the Department of Agriculture can support planning and evaluation of agricultural policies that are more targeted, so that they can improve the welfare of farmers in Bandar Lampung City.
"Good collaboration between BPS and the Department of Agriculture will be very useful in formulating programs and budgets that suit the potential and needs of the agricultural sector in the region. We are committed to continuing to strengthen this synergy for the agricultural progress of Bandar Lampung City," he concluded. Erwin, SH, MH.
