The IBS survey is a survey that is routinely carried out by BPS and its planning is assisted by the Ministry of Industry, Bappenas and related agencies. This survey consists of Annual and Quarterly IBS surveys. The aim of the IBS survey is to obtain data and statistical information on large and medium industries that is complete, accurate, relevant and timely for development planning. Survey data is used by the government as material for evaluation and development planning, especially in the Indonesian manufacturing industry sector. The Medium Large Industry Survey (IBS) is carried out by BPS in 2 periods, namely monthly and annually. In Bandar Lampung City, this survey activity was carried out in several sub-districts where there are medium-large industries.
Monthly IBS survey activities are carried out by 7 PPL and 4 PML officers. This survey field activity is scheduled to be carried out every month throughout 2023. Some of the information obtained in the Annual IBS survey is industry classification, number of workers, added value, labor productivity, input cost composition, and output value composition.
Monthly IBS activities are carried out in the range 1-30 for each month.
