Subround I 2023 Palawija Tiles Survey

One of the tasks of BPS in providing data on the productivity of food crops, one of which is through the Tiling Survey method. This survey is routinely carried out by BPS City of Bandar Lampung. The data collection period is carried out every sub-round (four months). Productivity data collection was carried out at the farmer's harvest time by direct measurement in the field (paddy field / dry field) on selected tile plots measuring 2 ½ m x 2 ½ m. Food crop data collected includes rice, corn, soybeans, peanuts, cassava, and sweet potatoes. The aim of the Tiling Survey is to obtain data on the productivity of food crops needed in calculating food crop production figures. For Bandar Lampung, the Tiling Survey that was carried out was only Ubinan Paddy and Palawija.
This palawija tile survey activity was preceded by training activities for field officers who were held. Meanwhile, there were 4 PPL and 2 PML survey officers at BPS City of Bandar Lampung. The tile survey was carried out based on the crop harvesting sub-rounds, i.e. there are 3 sub-rounds every year. Subround I covers January-April 2023, Subround II covers May-August 2023, and subround III covers September-December 2023. The number of survey samples in subround I was 20 BS with a total of 61 plots (30 corn, 3 peanuts, 23 cassava, and 5 sweet potatoes). For the palawija subround II tiles, there were 20 BS with a total of 61 plots (43 corn, 11 cassava, 7 sweet potatoes). For the palawija subround III tiles, there were 10 BS with 28 plots (14 corn, 3 peanuts, 7 cassava, and 4 sweet potatoes).
One of the challenges of the Tiles survey is not knowing the word holiday, tiles can be carried out at any time on Saturday or Sunday. Because the Ubinan survey depends on when the farmer will harvest. It is hoped that the hard work of officers in the field will produce quality food data.
The 2023 Subround I Palawija Tiles Survey will be carried out in April 2023
